I love the gym, spent my summer in my schools weight-room for football season. But my injuries made me take the season off. Don’t screw yourself like i did. Rest, do core work, bike, or walk an incline on a treadmill. Im learning as well, so the only thing i can say is get strap on weights or do slow and controlled arm circles and use the weights and do slow and controlled arm scissors.also do shoulder shrugs, and curls with the arm strap weights. also do sit-ups and such. im not a physical therapist, or anything along those lines, just a kid with experience in workouts and learning from injuries what to do.
